Terms of Service
By using Valinor you agree to the terms below. If you administer the account on behalf of a company, you confirm you have the authority to bind it to these terms.
1. The service
Valinor provides infrastructure monitoring, security incident detection, and, optionally, vulnerability assessments, through an agent you install on your own servers and a web dashboard.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for any action taken from your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Security scans - authorization required
A vulnerability assessment may ONLY be started against targets you own or have written authorization to test. An assessment starts only after proof of ownership and, for intrusive ones, after the rules of engagement are signed. You take full responsibility for the accuracy of these statements.
4. Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed monthly, through Stripe, at the rate shown on the pricing page. You can change plans or cancel at any time from the dashboard; cancelling stops renewal, and the period already paid stays active to its end and is not refunded.
5. Acceptable use
You may not use the service to attack, scan without authorization, or disrupt systems you do not own, or for any unlawful activity.
6. Availability
We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available, but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We are not liable for losses caused by service interruptions, to the extent permitted by law.
7. Termination
You can close your account at any time by writing to us through the contact page. We may suspend or close an account that violates these terms, in particular the acceptable use rule above.
8. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the last change. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it.
